Events
  • Festivals: numerous festivals and several original festivals perpetuate the festive and convivial spirit in Saône-et-Loire, all themes combined: music (“Boy the note”: musical and summer events around the café terraces in Chalon, Autun and Cluny), theater, gastronomy, arts (“Tribal Show”, international tribal art fair in Bonnay), cinema (the Marcynéma festival in Marcigny) and even hot air balloons (with the Montgolfiades de Chalon during the Pentecost weekend) …
  • Concerts: a plural, eclectic and quality program: the Musicaves in Givry in June, Jazz à Couches, Tango Swing and Bretelles in Montceau, the Grandes Heures de Cluny (classical concerts in the heart of August), the Nuits Bressanes (populated by singing stars) in July in Louhans, and so many other musical events …
  • Exhibitions: the highlight is the Biennale de l’Été des portraits in Bourbon-Lancy (an unmissable event for lovers of portrait photos) and the regional trade fair (biennial) in Tournus in May , in particular to discover ancestral know-how. Numerous events exhibitions also throughout the year.
  • Flea markets : many flea markets (garage sales, flea market, etc.) punctuate the life of the villages and towns of the department with the common point of a friendly and warm atmosphere in all places and at all times.
  • Markets: present all year round in the squares of our towns and villages with all the good local products and gastronomic specialties of Saône-et-Loire on offer (Bresse poultry, cream and butter, goat cheese, Charolais meat, etc.)
  • Christmas markets: traditionally present in several towns in Saône-et-Loire to immerse yourself in the magic of the end of year celebrations and stock up on local and traditional products.
